Fluid Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to lead the safety work plan, drive on-ground improvements, and provide pragmatic, culture-shaping guidance across the organisation. You will collaborate with leaders to embed safe practices and influence positive outcomes across operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Health & Safety-focused role and/or relevant Health & Safety qualifications.
  • Strong working knowledge of New Zealand Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to provide pragmatic advice and influence positive outcomes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and supporting teams to embed safe working practices.
  • Experience within manufacturing, production, logistics, or other operational environments would be advantageous.

Health & Safety Advisor


Reporting to an experienced and collaborative Operations Manager, this role offers the opportunity to lead safety initiatives, influence culture, and make a visible impact across the organisation.


You'll work closely with teams to understand operational risks and challenges, providing practical advice that supports safe, productive workplaces


Through strong relationships and a hands-on approach, you'll help embed safe ways of working and help embed them into everyday operations.



What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and develop the Health & Safety Work Plan - partnering with leaders to embed safe work practices into everyday operations.


Drive Safety Improvement on the Ground - design and deliver H&S hazard control and incident management, and wellness strategies.


Reporting and Performance- lead regular health and safety meetings and accident investigations to provide clear actionable insights and risk controls.

What We're Looking For
