Aroha Consulting Limited in Central Auckland is seeking a Head Teacher to lead our Under 2’s team, creating a warm, safe space where babies and toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. You’ll shape early childhood education and drive a small, collaborative team.

No experience needed — full training provided. You’ll bring enthusiasm for mōtika and learning with under 2’s, plus a current First Aid and CPR certification, and you’ll build strong whānau relationships while upholding health and safety

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in mōtika and learning with under 2’s.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Interest in supporting your team and working with whānau.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run daily activities that support babies’ and toddlers’ development through play and exploration.
• Lead and support your team to deliver quality care across the Under 2’s room.
• Build strong relationships with whānau and keep them updated on their tamariki’s progress.
• Ensure the space stays safe, clean, and follows all health and safety standards.
• Contribute to the centre’s approach to te ao Māori and inclusive practice.
