Job summary

Kindercare Learning Centres in Christchurch is seeking a warm, nurturing Team Leader with leadership and mentoring experience to guide our Kiwi Room team of teachers caring for tamariki under 2.

As a Kaiako with NZ provisional or full practising certificate, you will lead, mentor and collaborate with whānau to create inspiring, play-based learning experiences while upholding respectful care and strong partnerships.

Qualifications

• Must have previous leadership experience.
• ECE qualified and registered teacher with a current NZ provisional or full practising certificate.
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a wonderful team of teachers in the Kiwi Room.
• Create inspiring environments and partner with parents and whānau.
• Provide fun-filled, high-quality learning experiences for tamariki under 2 with respectful care.
• Guide and support team members to achieve strong teaching practices.

The position:

• Permanent, full time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

• ECE qualified and registered Teacher with a current NZ provisional or full practising certificate

• Must have previous leadership experience

• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite
