Job summary

Westpac New Zealand Limited seeks a Manager, Virtual Wealth Advice to lead a dispersed team delivering personalised financial advice via phone and video. You will establish a scalable, customer-centric service model while driving quality and efficiency across digital channels.

You will shape access to advice for customers with varying funds, lead the cadet programme, and partner with Wealth Office, Risk and Operations to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in financial advice or wealth management.
• Experience as an investment Financial Adviser and holding a relevant qualification.
• Strong understanding of investment products, KiwiSaver and regulatory requirements for financial advice.
• Experience with digital or virtual service delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Virtual Wealth Advisers, Consultants and Cadets.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality financial advice via telephone and video interactions.
• Embed a customer-centred approach ensuring advice is clear and aligned with customer goals.
• Maintain standards across interactions, advice quality, and virtual experience.
• Manage performance metrics like volumes, service levels and turnaround times.
• Optimise workflows across telephone, video and digital channels for efficiency and quality.
• Oversee end-to-end support, including product processing and post-advice activity.
• Lead Wealth Office cadet programme with onboarding and progression paths.
• Build partnerships across Wealth Office, Product, Risk and Operations.
