Job summary

Blue Mountain College is a small rural school at the foot of the Blue Mountains in West Otago. We have an exciting opportunity for a middle management teacher to oversee the Mathematics curriculum for Years 7–13 and numeracy support.

The ideal candidate will be well organised, collaborative and experienced with curriculum changes, displaying strong leadership and a passion for rural education. The position is full time and permanent, starting Term 1 2027; 2 permanent MU and 1 permanent MMA.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our dedicated teaching staff in a middle management role. The role involves the oversight of the mathematics curriculum from Years 7 to 13 and will also include oversight of numeracy support.

The ideal candidate will be well organised, collaborative, have strong understanding of curriculum change, show strong leadership capabilities and be passionate about rural education.

The position is a full time permanent one that will commence Term 1 2027.
