Job summary

NZTA | Waka Kotahi seeks a Senior Manager for Audit and Integrity to lead internal audit, investment audits and the independent integrity function. You will report to the Group General Counsel and the Board, delivering evidence-based assurance that strengthens governance and transparency across the organisation.

You will design risk-based audit programmes, apply the Three Lines Model, and develop capability within a high-performing team while upholding Te Ao Māori concepts, tikanga and Te Tiriti

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading internal audit, assurance or integrity functions in a large, complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead NZTA's Board approved internal audit and investment audit programmes.
• Oversee independent integrity function, including protection disclosures and investigations.
• Ensure findings translate into practical organisational improvements and governance enhancements.
• Build capability and coach high-performing specialist teams.
