Job summary

Xero is building the shared platform services that will underpin key product and technology bets. As Head of Product for AI Shared Services, you will lead strategy and execution for domains like Eventing, Communications and Search, shaping the next generation of products and standards used across Xero teams.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with scope to learn, shape, and grow while delivering value to Xero's customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform products, infrastructure, developer experience or enterprise services.
• Experience managing a portfolio of interdependent products.
• Technical fluency across distributed systems, eventing, communication and data platforms and cloud environments.
• Strong commercial judgement for investment in shared capabilities.
• Leading through ambiguity, competing priorities and dependency complexity.
• Track record of growing people and teams, and aligning work to the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy for the AI Shared Services domain with a roadmap for quarters ahead.
• Establish the key metrics and dashboards to track progress and success.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Grow adoption of shared AI capabilities across multiple product and engineering teams over time.
• Lead execution and turn ambiguous goals into tangible plans.
