Job summary

WM New Zealand Technical Services (TS) seeks a commercially driven sales professional to hunter for new business in the Lower North Island portfolio, including Wellington and surrounding areas. You will lead pricing strategy, guide clients through complex hazardous waste challenges, and partner with internal teams to craft sustainable solutions.

Based in Christchurch/Wellington region, you will grow our South Island footprint while navigating risk and compliance in waste categories, using CRM

• Pre-qualify hazardous waste opportunities and guide customers to technical solutions.
• Develop value-based pricing and commercial insights for strategy.
• Carry out cost-benefit and profitability analyses to inform decisions.
• Shape pricing models that balance customer value and business viability.
• Manage a value-based sales cycle from first contact to closed deal.
• Collaborate with technical, sales, marketing and operations teams to deliver outcomes.
