The Environmental Protection Authority NZ, based in Wellington, is seeking an Advisor to provide advice on the import and manufacture of hazardous substances and to engage with applicants and decision makers on statutory processes.

You will manage a busy workload across multiple regulatory streams, build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and communicate complex information clearly to support timely, evidence-based decisions.

Qualificações

• Experience in regulatory systems and processes.
• Experience with Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 or similar legislation.
• Excellent communication, relationship building and reporting skills; strong customer service.
• Self-motivated, able to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Attention to detail with sound judgement and pragmatic problem-solving.
• Ability to analyse technical material, identify risks and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
