Job summary

Gallagher in Hamilton seeks a Hardware Engineering Lead to steer the hardware team delivering the next generation of eShepherd hardware. You will guide electronics and mechanical engineers from concept to field deployment, shaping the technology roadmap and product strategy.

You will collaborate with Product, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing and Customer teams to translate customer feedback into robust, scalable hardware solutions that perform in demanding farming environments.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience leading engineering teams developing complex hardware or IoT products.
• Strong product development expertise from concept through to production.
• The ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• A passion for coaching engineers and building high-performing teams.
• Sound technical judgement, commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset.
