Job summary

Citycare Water in Masterton is seeking a practical Team Leader for our Construction crew. This field-based role puts you at the front, guiding the team to deliver reliable three waters services and maintain safety on site.

You’ll coordinate day-to-day drainage and water maintenance, mentor crews, complete site checks, and report using tablets and systems. Applicants will have NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Level 3), hands-on drainage/three waters experience, and a current Class 1/2

Qualifications

• NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Level 3) is required.
• Hands-on drainage/three waters experience required.
• Experience leading or supporting a small crew preferred.
• Ability to use tablets and digital job systems on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crew to deliver drainage, water, wastewater and stormwater work.
• Coordinate day-to-day planning, safety, and job priorities.
• Complete site checks, inspections, and timesheets efficiently.
• Mentor team members and promote safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Ensure quality, productivity and environmental care on site.
