Job summary

Tony's Tyres in New Zealand's Pukekohe store is seeking a hands-on leader to support the Branch Manager in driving daily performance and building a high-performing team. This 45-hour-per-week role, Monday to Saturday, keeps you close to the workshop while leading from the floor and ensuring excellent customer experience.

You will stay hands-on across the workshop, perform wheel alignments, and help train and manage staff. This is a real leadership opportunity within a trusted Kiwi brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or tyre industry, or willingness to learn across all store operations.
• Proven sales experience and ability to drive results as part of a team.
• Emerging leadership skills and the confidence to lead by example.
• Good communication skills and a solutions-focused attitude.
• A full, clean New Zealand Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the team.
• Drive store performance by managing sales and stock to meet targets.
• Deliver a consistently excellent in-store customer experience.
• Maintain high standards for store presentation and Health & Safety compliance.
• Perform Wheel Alignments and be hands-on across all areas of the workshop.
• Assist with training, performance management, and adherence to company procedures.
