Hampshire Holiday Parks’ Carters Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park in Westport, NZ is seeking a capable, hands-on Park Manager to lead a small team and own day-to-day operations. You will drive guest experiences, maintain high park presentation, and work with the broader business to maximise occupancy and profitability.

This hands-on leadership role requires practical management, strong people skills, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in hospitality or guest-focused operations.
• Ability to build positive team culture and accountability.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Sound financial acumen with cost and budget awareness.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
• A current driver’s license (First Aid certification advantage).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the park and uphold high standards across the business.
• Coach and develop a small team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage rosters, staffing levels and operational performance.
• Monitor budgets, costs and overall business performance to meet targets.
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness and presentation of the park and facilities.
• Build positive guest relationships and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, regulatory and company requirements.
• Support initiatives that drive occupancy and guest satisfaction.
