Responsibilities

Hydraulic service & repair.
Identify and work with hydraulic components: pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, accumulators, filters, manifolds, hoses and fittings.
Dismantling, cleaning, inspection and reassembly of hydraulic components.
Basic hydraulic fault-finding and diagnostic techniques.
Preventative maintenance and system inspections.
Assistance with flushing, pressure testing and commissioning under supervision.
Installation and replacement of hydraulic hoses, tubing and fittings.
Maintain clean and organised workshop and service areas.
Assist with workshop repairs and rebuilds.
Prepare tools, equipment, components and materials for service jobs.
Learn to safely use workshop machinery and hydraulic test equipment.
