Job summary

Probeauty, a Christchurch-based professional beauty and aesthetics business, seeks an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive performance. Working closely with owners, you will turn strategy into clear priorities, oversee people, operations, finance, sales and marketing, systems and technology.

You will be a strong operator and people leader, capable of moving between strategic thinking and practical execution, with experience in SMEs.

Qualifications

Senior leadership experience in an SME or fast-moving environment.
Experience in beauty/aesthetics/healthcare or related sectors is advantageous.
Ability to translate strategy into priorities and executable plans.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations and overall performance of Probeauty.
Translate strategy into annual plans, priorities, KPIs and actions.
Own financial and commercial performance, including revenue, margin and profitability.
Support and challenge sales performance and develop key relationships with customers, suppliers and brands.
Coach and develop senior team members to enhance accountability and decision-making.
Strengthen operating rhythms, processes and cross-functional accountability.
Champion the use of technology, CRM, automation and business data.
Ensure SOPs and processes are embedded and followed.
Identify opportunities to improve performance and customer value.
Protect and strengthen the company culture.
