Job summary

Presbyterian Support National is seeking an Agricultural Machinery Operator to join our farming operation in Otago. This permanent, full-time role focuses on operating agricultural machinery across day-to-day and seasonal tasks, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours.

Applicants should have agricultural study or at least two years of practical experience in agriculture, and a genuine interest in machinery and farming operations. Training will be provided and OT may be required during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience in agriculture.
• Relevant agricultural study or training.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and associated agricultural implements.
• Operate harvesting machinery.
• Operate sprayers and crop application machinery.
• Operate balers and other seasonal agricultural machinery.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work safely around staff, vehicles, machinery and crops.
• Assist with other machinery-related agricultural duties when required.
