Job summary

Kensway, a leading NZ consultancy, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Hamilton to lead construction and infrastructure projects from planning through delivery. You will manage programmes, budgets, and key stakeholders, ensuring client value and safe, efficient outcomes across the Waikato region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management within the construction, property, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience coordinating design teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Excellent programme and budget management capability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent project planning tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction and infrastructure projects through all phases of delivery.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and reporting.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Facilitate effective communication between all project participants.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations.
• Support business growth and contribute to Kensway's presence in the Waikato region.
