Job summary

IAG is hiring a Guidewire Developer for permanent, full-time work in Auckland and Wellington. You will develop, configure and support Guidewire PolicyCenter within an Agile team, collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions and continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in software development or application engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Exposure to GitHub or Bitbucket for source control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of insurance products, preferably General Insurance.
• Understanding of automation, monitoring or DevOps practices.

We are seeking a Guidewire Developer to support the development, enhancement and maintenance of Guidewire applications across our technology landscape. Working within an Agile delivery team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and support platform stability and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will have good foundation in Guidewire PolicyCenter who is looking to further develop their technical capabilities in a collaborative environment.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington)
