Job summary

Cordis, Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group is seeking a part-time Guest Services Agent to join our front office team in Auckland. You will be the first warm, Kiwi-service impression for guests, handling check-ins/outs, inquiries, and requests with accuracy and care.

Join a luxury hotel with a strong emphasis on guest experience, cross-department collaboration, and opportunities to upsell in a natural, guest-focused way. NZ work rights are required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel front office, guest services, reservations, hospitality or a customer-facing role.
Strong communication style with guests from diverse backgrounds.
High level of English comprehension and clear verbal communication.
Professional grooming and presentation in a luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities

Welcoming guests warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel recognised and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Completing check-ins and check-outs accurately, efficiently and in line with hotel procedures.
Assisting with guest enquiries, including hotel facilities, room information, local recommendations and general requests.
Creating personalised guest experiences by recognising guest needs and looking for opportunities to make their stay memorable.
Handling guest concerns with empathy, professionalism and urgency, ensuring appropriate follow-up where required.
Supporting room upselling and cross-selling opportunities in a natural and confident way.
Working closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Concierge and other departments to ensure guest requests are communicated clearly.
Maintaining accurate guest records, payment details and booking information within hotel systems.

Guest Services Agent - Part Time

We are looking for a part-time Guest Service Agents to join our front office! Be part of the first impression in delivering a heartfelt kiwi service to our guests. This role will have you delivering a friendly, efficient and accurate service on the front desk.

A warm, confident and professional communication style, with the ability to connect with guests from different backgrounds.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete administrative tasks accurately.
The ability to stay calm, helpful and organised in a fast-paced front desk environment.
A high level of English comprehension and clear verbal communication skills.
Professional grooming and presentation, in line with a luxury hotel environment.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons, weekends and public holidays.
Previous experience with a hotel PMS system would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
