Job summary

Skyline Rotorua is hiring a Guest Service Host – Photography to welcome guests, assist with ticket sales, and capture memorable moments during the Skyline experience. You will help guests view and purchase photos while delivering a high-energy, friendly service.

This role requires excellent communication, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Availability across the peak summer season is preferred, with opportunities for cross-training.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing roles in retail, hospitality, or tourism preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak seasons.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with ticket sales and bookings.
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide information about Skyline experiences and attractions.
• Help guests capture and view photos, and assist with purchases.
• Deliver a fun, engaging guest experience throughout shifts.

The perfect candidate will bring

• A warm, positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and confidence using point-of-sale systems
• A customer-first mindset and problem-solving approach
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, tourism, or guest services (preferred but not essential)
• Availability to work throughout the peak summer season, including Christmas and New Year
