Job summary

Hind Management, the hospitality group behind Sudima Lake Rotorua, is seeking a Guest Service Agent for our busy Rotorua hotel. This fixed-term role (minimum 30 hours per week) offers $26 per hour and requires weekend and evening availability.

Full training will be provided, with on-site duties at Sudima Lake Rotorua and opportunities to develop hospitality skills. We welcome both seasoned professionals and newcomers to hospitality who are passionate about guest service and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles in hospitality and a willingness to learn.
• Weekend and evening availability is required.
• NZQA Level 2/3 or ANZSCO Skill Level 4 may substitute for formal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and accurate check in and out process.
• Provide 4-star service with a personal touch.
• Answer phone calls and action guest requests with relevant departments.
• Attend ongoing training.
• Communicate professionally with other hotel departments.
• Maintain the reception area.
• Advise on and arrange reservations and accommodation.
• Ensure Health and Safety standards are met and reported.
