Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.
This is a business full of good people, led by a husband and wife team who set the tone from the top. There's plenty of banter and real collaboration here. The Group currently spans four complementary construction businesses across Tauranga, Hamilton, and Auckland, with the head office in the Mount. It's a grounded, values-led crew.
We're after a commercially minded finance leader who can take real ownership of the finance function and build the disciplines and capability this Group needs as it grows. You'll be:
- Owning cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Delivering reliable, timely month end reporting across all Group entities
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis that management can genuinely use
- Building and maintaining strong banking and funding relationships, and staying ahead of funding needs
- Strengthening financial controls and disciplines across the businesses
- Improving management reporting and visibility of the key financial and operational drivers in each business
- Building scalable finance systems and processes as the Group grows
- Supporting acquisitions, investment analysis and capital allocation when required
- Overseeing the Group's Xero environment and keeping financial controls tight
- Leading, mentoring and developing the existing finance team
- Having the direct conversations when they're needed, and holding people accountable
