Job summary

Reddy Group is seeking a hands-on, senior finance leader to own NZ finance, treasury, tax and compliance, and to support group reporting across our wider structure including Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga. You will lead a small NZ finance team and collaborate with directors, trustees, advisors, banking partners, and fund managers to drive robust reporting, risk management and strategic tax planning.

This is a high-visibility, full-time role in Auckland requiring leadership, governance, and strong

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a leadership/managerial role within finance or investment.
  • A relevant professional accreditation (CA, CPA, or CFA).
  • Experience building high-performing teams and tracking development.
  • Experience managing a multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction treasury function.
  • Family Office experience is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and grows the NZ finance team and oversees performance and development.
  • Owns statutory and group reporting, ensuring timely financial statements and audits.
  • Oversees tax, risk and compliance across jurisdictions including transfer pricing.
  • Manages group treasury: cashflow, liquidity, leverage and FX exposure, maintains banking relations.
  • Supports family trusts and corporate structures with trustees/advisors.
  • Oversees property acquisitions/divestments and annual insurance renewals.

About the role:

Reporting to the Family Office Director, this role takes ownership of NZ finance, treasury, tax and compliance, and supports group reporting across our wider structure, including our hotel operations in Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga.

The role leads a small NZ finance team, while also working closely with directors, trustees, advisors, banking partners, and fund managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management - leads and grows the NZ finance team, keeping an eye on performance, development, and skills
  • Reporting - owns statutory and group reporting, making sure financial statements and audits land on time
  • Tax, Risk and Compliance - stays on top of group tax planning and compliance across jurisdictions, including transfer pricing and risk mitigation
  • Treasury - manages group cashflow, liquidity, leverage, and FX exposure, and keeps banking relationships strong
  • Family Office - supports family trusts and corporate structures, working closely with trustees and advisors
  • Property and Insurance - support property acquisitions and divestments, oversees R&M project budgets, and manage our annual insurance renewals
About you:

This is a hands-on leadership role with real variety across finance, treasury, tax, and family office matters.

Qualifications/Experience:
  • 5+ years in a leadership/management role within a commercial, accounting, finance, or investment environment.
  • A relevant professional accreditation (CA, CPA, or CFA).
  • Experience building high-performing teams, from hiring through to performance tracking and development.
  • A track record managing a multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction treasury function.
  • Family Office experience is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker.
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Solid knowledge of the New Zealand tax system, ideally with some exposure to tax systems across the wider Asia Pacific region.
  • A good handle on multinational corporate structures and trust fundamentals.
  • Some exposure to investment frameworks, including alternative asset classes and strategic asset allocation.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP financial reporting standards.
  • Strong project and process management skills.Commercially minded, with the ability to talk through complex topics simply and with a balanced view.
  • Comfortable with core business tools like MS Office, and open to newer tech like AI tools such as Copilot and Claude.
