Job summary

CPL Global Group / Hushtec in Kaiwaka, Northland, NZ, seeks an experienced Group CFO for an international, hybrid role. You will own group finances, drive consolidation, cash flow, FX, tax and controls, partnering with directors to steer growth across NZ, US and UK operations.

You will lead a hands-on finance team, implement robust processes, and ensure timely, accurate financial information for strategic decisions. Flexible working and family-friendly arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience consolidating group accounts and producing monthly management accounts.
• Proven ability to forecast cash flow, budgets and financial models.
• International tax management across multiple jurisdictions.
• FX and treasury management for multinational entities.
• Management of banking, funding and intercompany flows.

Responsibilities

• Own the consolidated group financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and dashboards for directors.
• Lead cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling.
• Oversee international tax, compliance and regulatory obligations.
• Manage FX, treasury, intercompany transactions and funding arrangements.
• Establish robust financial processes and controls across US/UK entities.
• Provide proactive, hands-on leadership to the finance function.

We're Hiring – Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

CPL Global Group / Hushtec Kaiwaka, Northland | Hybrid & Flexible Working

We're looking for an experienced, commercially minded Group CFO to join our growing international business.

CPL Global Group is a New Zealand-owned manufacturing and export business, operating across New Zealand, Australia, the United States and United Kingdom, with our flagship Hushtec brand supplying innovative acoustic solutions to projects around the world.

With significant international growth underway, including newly established entities in the US and UK, we're looking for someone to take full ownership of our group finances and help lead the next stage of growth.

What we're looking for:

• Strong experience producing accurate monthly management accounts and consolidated group reporting.
• Excellent cashflow forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling capabilities.
• International tax management and compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven foreign exchange (FX) and treasury management experience, including significant international cash transfers between group entities.
• Experience managing international banking, working capital, intercompany transactions and funding arrangements.
• The ability to establish strong financial processes and controls across our newer US and UK operations.
• A proactive, hands‑on leader who takes ownership, anticipates challenges and delivers results.

Flexible working arrangements

We're open to a hybrid arrangement, splitting time between our Kaiwaka office and working from home. We're also flexible around school hours and family commitments.
