Job summary

PDV Consultants Ltd – Hamilton, North Island is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will deliver technical drawings and designs for plant, equipment, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and prepare layouts.

The role involves design reviews, onsite measurement, 3D laser scanning, and supporting tender documentation and project management on projects to reduce emissions and introduce high-level automation.

Qualifications

• Strong command of Inventor and AutoCAD (or similar software).
• Hands-on experience with FEA and designing mechanical equipment would be an advantage
• Excellent eye for detail and communication skills
• A passion for innovative and creative design

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings for plant and equipment, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
• Deliver design works and participate in design reviews.
• Conduct onsite measurements and 3D laser scanning.
• Supervise site activities and progress.
• Engage in tender documentation and project management.
