Job summary

ENGEO in Takapuna is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team and kick off a geotechnical career this summer. You’ll gain hands on experience, practical mentorship, and exposure to a range of complex projects alongside an experienced, supportive team.

You’ll support field investigations, data collection, and geotechnical analysis while learning how advice is applied in real‑world consulting. Opportunities exist for broader NZ projects, including Australia & the Pacific.

Qualifications

• Attitude matters for graduate recruitment and a keenness to learn.
• Willingness to start after exams or early next year.
• Interest in geotechnical engineering and consulting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field investigations, logging, sampling and data collection.
• Support ground and soil characterisation, hazard identification and constraint assessment.
• Aid geotechnical analysis and development of practical recommendations.
• Support project delivery through field coordination, data management and technical outputs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients and contractors and learn real‑world consulting practices.
