Transpower invites engineering graduates to join its Graduate Programme in Wellington, commencing February 2028. You will join a cohort of twenty graduates and rotate across technical disciplines to apply theory to real-world grid challenges while working with diverse teams.

This permanent role supports your development in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Power Systems/Renewable Energy, with mentoring from technical experts to advance your engineering career in Aotearoa.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, or Power Systems/Renewable Energy papers.
• Minimum B+ (5.5 GPA)
• Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Interest in energy and big-picture thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in a two-year rotational programme across technical teams.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders and the wider Transpower business.
• Develop technical capability by solving real-life grid challenges.
• Offices may include Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington, and Christchurch.
