Qualifications

• By December 2027, you will have completed a BE(Hons) in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, or Mechatronics.
• Minimum B+ (5.5 GPA) and strong written/verbal communication and listening skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Interest in energy, and the wider grid, and a desire to help Aotearoa.

Responsibilities

• Engage in a two‑year rotation across transmission teams and projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, customers and stakeholders.
• Develop technical capability in power systems and related domains.
• Contribute to real‑world challenges in NZ’s National Grid and operations planning.
