Job summary

Fulton Hogan Gore is seeking an experienced Grader Driver to join our team on the Gore Road Maintenance contract. This hands-on role focuses on operating a grader safely to maintain roads and support the contract team, delivering high-quality work in all weather conditions.

You will perform daily equipment checks, work with colleagues to meet schedules and safety standards, and contribute to community safety by keeping the local network well maintained.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a grader in road maintenance, civil, or infrastructure environments.
• The relevant class licences, endorsements, and confidence operating heavy plant.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and doing the job right first time.
• A reliable, team-focused approach and the ability to work well with others on site.
• Good judgement, initiative, and a willingness to pitch in where needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a grader safely and efficiently across road maintenance activities.
• Deliver planned maintenance, response work, and general network upkeep to a high standard.
• Complete daily checks and basic care of plant and equipment.
• Work closely with the wider crew to meet programme, quality, and safety expectations.
• Follow site procedures, traffic management requirements, and Fulton Hogan safety standards at all times.
