Job summary

Canaan Creative Global Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned government affairs and corporate communications professional to lead policy engagement and external communications across APAC.

You will coordinate with government officials, industry groups and media, delivering strategic guidance on regulatory developments and impactful campaigns. Ideal candidates bring at least five years in government affairs or public relations, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a data-driven,

Qualifications

  • Degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a government affairs program/ corporate communications or public relations.
  • Strong track record in developing and implementing external communication strategies/campaigns across multiple geographies.
  • Strong research, analysis, writing and presentation skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Consultative approach, outcome focused and data driven.
  • Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Key point of contact with government officials, industry stakeholders, trade associations, in Singapore and proactively identifies opportunities to deepen relationships with key government stakeholders across the APAC region.
  • Provide clear advice on regulatory developments and policy issues related to business interests in Singapore and APAC region
  • Experience in collaborating with government officials, responding to regulatory enquiries, writing briefings, preparing and delivering presentations to regulators, government officials and industry associations.
  • Build and manage relationships with relevant media stakeholders in Singapore, and support Global Head in managing media relationships across global priority markets
  • Represent the company in external meetings with the media and private/public sector communication partners.
