Job summary

Abbott in New Zealand's Waikato region seeks a Compliance Manager to lead plant quality systems, ensure GMP compliance, and coordinate audits. You will drive CAPA activities and work with QEs on key projects to sustain product integrity.

A bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field is required, with strong regulatory knowledge. Excellent communication, problem solving, organization, and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline or equivalent.
• Strong regulatory knowledge with GMP, SQF and HACCP experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality system and audit readiness across the site.
• Manage CAPA activities and ensure closure with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide guidance to plant staff and QA on compliance issues.
• Maintain SQF Practitioner responsibilities and the HACCP program.
