Job summary

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in software engineering, architecture, platform strategy, shared services, or engineering enablement in a global product organization.
• Proven success defining technology strategy, standards, reference architectures, and governance models achieving broad adoption.
• Strong expertise in modern software architecture, cloud platforms, HPC, platform data strategy, and shared services.
• Experience delivering machine learning and generative AI in production with governance and shared-service approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and governance of Seequent’s Technology Strategy roadmap, aligning tech investments with business, product, and engineering priorities.
• Define and drive software architecture, platform data strategy, and HPC capabilities to support secure, scalable, high-performing products.
• Establish reference architectures, standards, governance, and reusable patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Lead adoption of ML and generative AI capabilities with shared platforms and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, Data, and Operations leaders to align strategic tech decisions.
• Develop reference implementations, templates, and shared components to improve quality, security, and maintainability.
• Drive technology enablement through documentation, training, and architecture engagement models.
• Build and lead a high-performing, global Technology Strategy organization.
