Job summary

Seequent in Christchurch, New Zealand, seeks a senior Technology Strategy leader to define and advance the company's technology strategy, AI services, and platform data governance. You will shape reference architectures, drive high-performance computing standards, and partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Data, and Operations to align investments with business priorities.

You will build a global Technology Strategy organization, hire and coach talent, and promote responsible AI governance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Proven success defining technology strategy and governance models.
• Strong expertise in modern software architecture and cloud platforms.
• Experience delivering ML and generative AI capabilities in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and governance of Seequent’s Technology Strategy roadmap.
• Define software architecture, platform data strategy, and HPC capabilities.
• Establish reference architectures, standards, and governance models.
• Drive ML/AI capabilities with shared platforms and governance frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Security, Data, and Ops.
