Job summary
Tait Communications seeks a General Manager, Global Service Operations to lead and evolve its worldwide service delivery model. Based in Christchurch or Wellington, you will drive consistency, efficiency and performance across our operations while guiding a capable team delivering essential services daily.
You will partner with regional teams and functions to enhance customer outcomes, manage budgets, and shape the global operating model for growth and scalability in a demanding environment.
Qualifications
- Significant leadership experience in managed services or tech operations.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and 24/7 environments.
- Strong understanding of service management, SLAs and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead global service operations function and shape future operating model.
- Drive performance, availability and reliability of customer networks and managed services.
- Establish global standards for service delivery and incident management.
- Collaborate with regional teams, Engineering, Product, Logistics and Digital & Information Services to enhance outcomes.
- Oversee 24/7 incident response and operational resilience activities.
