Job summary

Grinding Gear Games is seeking Localisation Quality Assurance Testers to join our talented team in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand. This full-time, on-site role involves testing Path of Exile content for localization issues in multiple languages and English, reviewing translations, and ensuring terminology consistency.

You will communicate issues to the development team via our tracking tools, verify fixes in-game, and script automated tests to improve our QA processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Path of Exile or similar complex games preferred.
• C2-level proficiency in one listed localization language with strong communication.
• Qualification in CS/Software Eng or equivalent, or 2+ years QA/localization experience.

Responsibilities

• Test new Path of Exile content to identify localization and functional issues in your language and English.
• Review in-game text for accurate translations within the game context.
• Identify and report linguistic issues promptly.
• Maintain consistency with established terminology.
• Communicate problems to the development team via our issue tracking system.
• Follow up on statuses and verify localization fixes in-game.
• Check candidate builds of updates/patches for problems using checklists.
• Script automated test cases and improve testing tools.
