Job summary

T&G Global Limited in Auckland is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to establish and lead our cyber security and technology risk capability. You’ll advise the CIO, Executive Leadership Team and Board on cyber risk, shaping strategy, governance and incident response.

This role covers IAM, cloud security, security operations oversight and vendor risk, in a global, cloud-enabled context with broad leadership impact.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cyber security programs at executive or board level.
• Deep understanding of cyber security frameworks, risk management and control design.
• Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business impact and practical choices.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise cyber security and technology risk strategy.
• Advise senior leaders and Board committees on cyber exposure and investment priorities.
• Oversee third-party risk, vendor management and assurance activities.
• Mature IAM strategy including identity governance and privileged access.
• Establish security principles across cloud and modern technology environments.
• Lead during significant cyber incidents and ensure tested response capabilities.
• Maintain cyber security policies, standards and control frameworks.
• Foster a strong security culture across the organisation.
