Job summary

Turners & Growers (T&G Global) – Ellerslie is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to establish and lead cyber security, information security and technology risk capabilities. You will advise the CIO and Board on exposure, risk appetite and investment priorities in a global, hybrid environment.

You will shape our security strategy, mature identity and access management, cloud security, and incident response while embedding security into the technology delivery lifecycle across T&G’s

Qualifications

• Experience leading cyber security, information security or technology risk at executive/board level.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, risk management and control design.
• Experience with identity, cloud security and modern security architectures.
• Ability to translate technical issues into business impact and practical choices.
• Experience managing third-party security providers and complex vendor environments.
• Experience in regulated, operationally complex or multi-region environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise cyber security and technology risk strategy.
• Provide clear, commercially grounded advice to senior leaders and Board on exposure, risk appetite and investment priorities.
• Establish stronger visibility and management of cyber, technology and third-party risks.
• Mature Identity & Access Management strategy, including identity governance and privileged access.
• Establish security principles and guardrails across cloud and modern technology environments.
• Provide executive leadership during significant cyber incidents and ensure response capabilities are tested and improved.
• Establish and maintain cyber security policies, standards and control frameworks.
• Oversee security assessments, audits, penetration testing and assurance activities.
• Build a strong security culture across T&G and educate leaders and employees on cyber risk.
