Job summary

The Glass Goose in Auckland is seeking an outgoing bar team member for a part-time, permanent role. You’ll work in a fast-paced, vibrant setting, serving cocktails, beers, wines, coffees and non-alcoholic drinks while delivering warm guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or bar service preferred.
• Ability to engage guests and create memorable experiences.
• Comfort with using a POS system and handling payments.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and engaging guests to create warm, memorable experiences
• Preparing and serving cocktails, beers, wines, coffees, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages
• Operating the bar during service, including setup, restocking, and pack-down
• Following opening and closing procedures with accuracy
• Promoting products, upselling, and supporting venue sales targets
• Handling payments and POS transactions
• Maintaining bar cleanliness, washing glassware, tapping kegs and rotating stock
• Supporting the duty manager and wider team as required
