Job summary

The Glass Goose bar team in Auckland is looking for an outgoing, energetic bartender for a full-time, permanent role. This is a great chance to grow skills in a fast-paced venue with clear pathways into leadership across Cook Brothers Hospitality.

You will greet guests, craft drinks, handle POS transactions, and contribute to sales targets while enjoying training, staff discounts, and opportunities to work across multiple sites. This is a stable, ongoing role with consistent hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced bar environment.
• Ability to upsell and drive sales.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create warm, memorable experiences.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, coffees, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Operate the bar during service, including setup, restocking, and pack-down.
• Follow opening and closing procedures with accuracy.
• Promote products, upsell, and support venue sales targets.
• Handle payments and POS transactions.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, wash glassware, tap kegs and rotate stock.
• Support the duty manager and wider team as required.
