Job summary

Kirk Roberts Consulting is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our Tauranga team. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from site investigations and analysis through to design, reporting and site observations during construction.

You will deliver geotechnical investigations, analysis, design and reporting, manage residential and land development projects, and collaborate closely with clients, consultants and the wider project team in a close-knit environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience within New Zealand.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
• Thrive on challenges and motivated to provide innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Delivering geotechnical investigations, analysis, design and reporting.
• Managing and contributing to residential and land development projects.
• Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and the wider project team.
• Getting out on site for investigations, observations and construction inspections.
• Supporting and sharing knowledge with less experienced team members.
• Working collaboratively with the Team Leader to deliver quality outcomes for clients.
• Contributing to the continued growth and capability of our Tauranga team.

Education

BEng Civil or equivalent specialising in Geotechnical
