CMW Geosciences in Hamilton is seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 2+ years of experience to join our team. You will undertake site investigations, contribute to design inputs, and work under senior professionals, with opportunities across land development, energy, transport and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences Degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a consultancy.
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Field-related experience in site investigations and construction observations.
• Experience in land development preferred.
• Exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site investigations, field testing, data collection and analysis, and prepare design inputs and technical reports.
• Assist with project delivery under the guidance of senior professionals, contributing to practical solutions that achieve project objectives and positive client outcomes.

About the role

We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands‑on Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 2+ years of experience to join our talented team in Hamilton. With excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, you will be eager to contribute from day one and hit the ground running.

What You'll Need

• A full New Zealand driver license
