Job summary

Archway Recruitment is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Auckland, NZ. You will lead geotechnical investigations, provide design solutions, and support construction across a mix of land development, infrastructure and building projects.

You will engage with clients and project teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive technically sound outcomes with autonomy in a collaborative, specialist consultancy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of geotechnical engineering consultancy experience.
• Strong background in site investigations, foundation design, earthworks, retaining structures and slope stability assessments.
• Experience on land development, commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects is highly regarded.

The Job on Offer

Due to continued growth, I am looking to talk with a Senior Geotechnical Engineer who have experience of leading geotechnical investigations, provide design solutions and deliver expert advice across a diverse range of projects. You'll oversee projects from initial site investigations through to detailed design and construction support. The role involves geotechnical reporting, foundation design, retaining wall and earthworks assessments, slope stability investigations and construction monitoring. You'll also work closely with clients, contractors and project teams while helping to mentor and develop junior engineers.

Experience You'll Require

You’ll ideally have 8+ years of geotechnical engineering consultancy experience and a strong background in site investigations, foundation design, earthworks, retaining structures and slope stability assessments. Experience working on land development, commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
