Job summary

Geotechnics Ltd is offering a full-time, 8-month fixed-term contract in the Kapiti region, with travel to the Manakau laboratory. The role involves lab and field testing, data entry, and reporting for geotechnical projects across New Zealand. We seek graduates or those with some related experience, a NZ driver’s licence, and strong attention to detail.

Relocation support and a project bonus accompany a competitive salary. Ongoing training and a collaborative team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Earth Science, Geology, Physical Geography, Environmental Science or Engineering preferred.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply; some experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory materials testing in the lab and on site.
• Sampling and field testing.
• Data entry and preparation of test reports.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and follow quality procedures.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians and engineers on various projects.
