Job summary

Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers invites applications for an experienced GP to join a community-focused health team on the Kapiti Coast. The role is permanent, up to 32 hours per week, with opportunities in both General Practice and Urgent Care, and includes on-site X-ray facilities and a connected pharmacy.

• General Practice (and Urgent Care mahi too if desired!)
• Permanent 32 hours desired (negotiable)
• Conveniently located on the Kapiti Coast just 5 minutes from the beach and 40 minutes from the Wellington CBD!

Team Medical is a locally owned recently renovated practice working in association with Green Cross Health. We are an integrated family health centre passionately providing a full range of GP Care to our enrolled patients and Urgent Care for accidents and urgent medical needs to our community.

As a key health hub to the Kapiti Coast our GP services typically weeks day and some weekends. Our Urgent Care services operate 7 days a week from 8am - 10pm. We offer full X-Ray facilities on site and are co-located with a pharmacy next door.

About the Position and You:

We have an opportunity for a GP to join us on a permanent basis working with skilled UC & GP colleagues and valued Nurse & Administration kaimahi.

You will bring to the role:

• Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilize your experience
• Great communication skills at all levels with patients, their whānau and your whānau kaimahi colleagues
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Good computer literacy - MedTech Evolution experience preferred
• Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
• You must be registered with current practicing and appropriate ACLS certification.
• Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
