Job summary

The Doctors Marshlands in Canterbury, Christchurch area seeks an experienced GP to join our team in a permanent leadership-capable role. You will champion equity, lead clinical improvements, and sit at the leadership table with a dedicated admin and nursing team.

Vocational registration and FRNZCGP are preferred, with a negotiable hours target of about 32 hours per week. We offer a supportive environment, 8–10 sessions per week, in-practice and virtual sessions, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus with

Job description

The Doctors Marshlands are looking for an experienced GP with a passion for caring for people in our community to join our team. If you are interested in a leadership position in a strong and stable practice.

We are looking for someone who can champion equity, bring clinical excellence, has proven quality improvement experience and has great ideas for clinically effective and efficient ways of working. You will play a key role in the strategic planning and will be sitting at the leadership table. The ideal candidate should possess sound clinical and communication skills. This role will be supported by our dedicated team of administration, nurses, GPs.

• 8-10 sessions per week
• Ability to have a mix of in practice and virtual sessions
• Dedicated clinical leadership time
• $10,000 sign on bonus
• $10,000 retention bonus after 12 months

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team. As an experienced GP ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.
