Job summary

Tamaki Health – White Cross New Brighton, Christchurch is seeking a General Practitioner to join a supportive clinical team. The role offers a four-day week (32 hours) and minimal weekend commitments, with flexible contractor or salaried options to suit your arrangement.

You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary care, build lasting relationships with patients and families, and work with nursing and admin staff to provide coordinated care in a well-established community clinic.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate, or eligibility for registration.
• Experience working as a General Practitioner within primary care.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to delivering culturally safe, patient-centred healthcare.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams.
