Job summary

The Doctors Whakatipu (Queenstown) is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team. The role offers opportunities for GP training and teaching within a supportive, progressive practice culture with 15-minute appointments.

You will work across two Queenstown sites (Shotover and Frankton) with light after-hours work and a mix of in-person and virtual consultations, in a permanent position with negotiable sessions.

Qualifications

• NZ GP Fellow or interest in GP trainer role
• Registered teaching practice experience desired
• Ability to provide quality and equitable healthcare

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team in a permanent role. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

About the position and you:

You will bring to the role:

• Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilise your experience
• NZ GP Fellow, interested in the role of GP Trainer
• Positive attituade to open notes and a team based model of care
• Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
• Hold registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand

This is a permanentposition with negotiable sessions, between 7-10sessionsper week. You will be required to work some weekends in accordance with the shared after-hours roster.
