Job summary

The Doctors Phoenix in Tauranga is seeking a registered nurse to join our committed general practice team. This permanent part-time role offers 24 hours across Monday to Sunday, with supportive leadership and opportunities for growth.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering clinical care, immunisation, travel health and chronic condition management, with scope for professional development.

Qualifications

• NZ practicing certificate with experience in a medical centre is desirable.
• Competent in nursing in primary and secondary care.
• Practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
• Postgraduate nursing qualifications desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditions.
• Willing to continually learn and improve.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a general practice setting within a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and admin staff to deliver patient care.
• Support immunisation, travel health, chronic disease management and health promotion where appropriate.
