Job summary

TP ICAP Group in Wellington is seeking a detail-driven Middle Office Administrator to support brokers by capturing trade details and performing data entry with accuracy.

You will input FX Forward trades into front end systems, ensure timely delivery of confirmations to clients, and assist with settlements and reporting across the OMS and related processes.

Experience with Excel and a keen interest in financial markets are desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Input FX Forward trades into front end trade capture systems.
• Ensure that all trades are delivered to the client via a 3rd Party electronic mechanism such as OMS.
• Ensure that all confirmations are delivered to the client via E-Mail and liaise with Clients or Brokers on issues.
• Resolve any queries related to non-delivery of electronic confirmations, liaising with the 3rd Party Vendor or Ops Services.
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of trades into OMS.
• Oversight of clearing and reporting processes relating to errors or defaults.
• Cross checking the agreements against the rates in OMS and maintaining a summarised brokerage list.
• Maintain client balances and notify brokers and back office to adjust rates when caps are reached.
• Assisting settlements with SDM – changes to make, adding traders and maintaining client details.
• Checking exception brokerage reports and ensuring variances are valid.
• Cross training new staff.
• Maintaining an up to date contact list.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to Commercial and Operational management.
