As a face-to-face fundraiser across Auckland locations, you’ll receive full training, ongoing coaching and uncapped earnings with clear progression paths as you develop your communication and sales skills.

Said Co. is growing, and we're looking for confident, motivated people to join our Auckland fundraising team.

We work with established charities, helping them connect with new long-term supporters. Much of our work involves supporting children, families and communities living in some of the world's most vulnerable circumstances.

We're looking for people who enjoy meeting others, have a bit of ambition about them and would love the opportunity to develop their communication and sales skills while doing something meaningful.

No previous fundraising or sales experience is required. We'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.

About the role

You'll be working face-to-face with members of the public at a variety of fundraising locations throughout Auckland, including private sites, residential areas and shopping centres.

Your day will involve:

• Approaching people and starting conversations
• Building rapport and connecting with people from all walks of life
• Sharing the stories and impact of the charities we represent
• Inspiring people to become regular, long-term supporters
• Working towards personal and team performance goals
• Developing your communication, sales and fundraising skills through ongoing coaching

Fundraising is a fascinating skill to learn. You get to meet all sorts of people, hear their stories and become better at understanding and communicating with others.

It can be challenging, and you'll certainly hear plenty of no's along the way. But when you connect with someone who cares about the cause and decides to get involved, it's incredibly rewarding.

Uncapped earning potential

This is an independent contractor, commission-based role, with earnings directly linked to your results rather than a fixed hourly wage. As your skills and performance improve, so does your opportunity to earn.

We'll explain the full earning structure during the interview process.

Full training and ongoing coaching

Training and development are a huge part of what we're building at Said Co.

With over 10 years of face-to-face fundraising experience behind us, we've learned a lot about what makes someone successful in this industry and how to help people develop those skills.

You'll receive hands-on training, regular coaching and plenty of opportunities to practise and improve.
